I’ve been so out of shape due to eating junk food during exam season but I’ve finally signed up to the gym again. I went during the summer but then had a big break from it due to Ramadhan. I thought it would be a nice idea to discuss the things I wear to the gym.

I only have one pair of running shoes, Nike Dart 9, if you go to Sports Direct you can pick them up for a very good price. I think they were around £30 when I bought them. A really good tip when buying running shoes is to get a half a size up from what you normally wear because your feet expand a little when you start running.

For t-shirts I tend to go for a certain type which wick moisture away from your body. You don’t have to worry about having a t-shirt stick to your sweaty back. Everything feels more comfortable.

Adidas do some tshirts called ‘Climacool’ which provides this sort of technology. I also know that Slazenger do a stylish looking tshirt that keeps you dry, you should be able to find it in Sports Direct for about £12 to £14. And although these aren’t specifically for sportswear, Uniqlo also offer a similar technology called ‘Heattech’ for £10, it keeps your body warm and dry which would obviously be handy if you like running outside. They have a good range of colours but this orange one looks great in my opinion.

For bottoms, I wear tracksuit bottoms from Nike. Not much to say about them really other than they are very baggy on me but comfortable.

On a side note, I have updated the ‘Links’ page so check them out!

  1. You should check out Zara’s sweatpants. I think they’re pretty stylish and really comfortable. Then again, I don’t do much cardio so I barely ever sweat. They’ve also got a range of styles and colours

    • Really? I never noticed that they had a sweatpants range, I think I’ll wait for one of their random sales because they’re bound to discount them.
